Exercise/Fitness Programs Exercise is one of the most important steps individuals can take to improve their overall health and well-being. Regular exercise reduces an employee’s risk of developing many chronic illnesses such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis and some cancers. The Surgeon General of the United States suggests at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic exercise daily. St. John’s offers a variety of resources to help your employees get moving including medically supervised fitness centers. All fitness instructors are college graduates and are certified or eligible for certification by the American College of Sports Medicine. St. John’s Fitness Center offers several membership plans including corporate sponsorship, senior citizen, individual or family membership.
